Pastorally, these volunteers care for the sick, elderly, homebound,
bereaved and their families. They visit and bring the Eucharist
to parishioners in their homes, nursing homes, as well as hospitals.
Special preparation sessions are required by the Archdiocese prior
to commissioning in this ministry.
